Free Web Analytics conference - Brussels May 25th 2010

I am glad to invite you to the coming FREE Web Analytics conference -"Web Analytics - a new profession!" on the 25th of May 2010 from 19:00, at the mVillage Business Center, in Brussels, Belgium.

The event is co-organized by the FeWeb, the Belgian Federation of Web Developers, the BetaGroup and the Web Analytics Association. The mission of the FeWeb is to defend the interest of Web development in Belgium and to guarantee a quality label.

The theme of the conference is to uncover a key aspect of online business: measurement, analysis & optimization i.e. Web Analytics. The conference will demonstrate that Web Analytics isn't just about gathering tons of metrics and putting these into nice charts & pies. Web Analytics is more about understanding online usage and transforming raw figures in actionable insights to support the business strategies.

Several professionals - practitioners and consultants - will share their expertise based on their experiences and practical cases. The speakers will be:

• Yours truly, representing the Web Analytics Association
• Pierre Dubois, member of the CIM/Internet commission and working at the RTBF.be, the Belgian French-speaking public service broadcaster (radio, TV, Internet...)
• Mike Mitchell, CEO and founder of web positioning agency eTeamsys
